Christie Derrico

I’m an attorney, podcaster, and writer—currently pitching my debut novel—with roots that stretch across New York State, from the five boroughs to Westchester’s suburbs to the wild beauty of the Adirondack Mountains.

As co-host and co-producer of The Balance Dilemma podcast, I create space for honest conversations about how women navigate work, family, ambition, and identity. Our guests—from bestselling authors to business leaders—share stories that examine the pressures, choices, and trade-offs behind the pursuit of balance. Each episode challenges the idea of “having it all” and instead highlights the complexity of modern life with candor and curiosity.

I earned my B.A. cum laude from Boston University, my J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and my M.A. from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English. In both my legal work and creative projects, I’m driven by a desire to ask better questions, listen closely, and find meaning in the ways people shape their lives.
